Stepping Out: Molly Brown House Museum

April 16, 2026 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a special Stepping Out experience as we explore one of Denver’s most iconic historic homes — the beautifully restored residence of Margaret “Molly” Brown.

The Story…

Built in the 1880s and designed by architect William Lang, the home blends Classic Queen Anne and Richardsonian Romanesque styles and once featured the most modern conveniences of its time: electricity, indoor plumbing, heat, and even a telephone. The house reflects the energy and ambition of Denver’s early boom years and the remarkable life of its most famous resident.

Saved from demolition by preservationists in 1970 and lovingly restored, the museum now shares the story of Molly Brown, a Titanic survivor, philanthropist, activist, and a woman far ahead of her time.
