Join Lotus Network & Phil Goodstein for this haunted walking tour!
Join us on October 19th at 10 AM for a 2-hour walk through the (potentially haunted) Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Capitol Hill is Denver’s most historic neighborhood, bisected by East Colfax. Since the 1970s, rich ghost lore has sprung up about the area.
Are there a couple of heads floating in the tunnels under the Capitol? Why did a table levitate at a restaurant in a haunted house at 1128 Grant Street? Who was United States Senator Thomas Patterson, and why is his Croke-Patterson Mansion filled with specters?
We’ll visit all these landmarks and stroll by the Molly Brown House along the way. Learn about the sex, sleaze, spooks, and scoundrels of this part of Denver.
TOUR DETAILS:
The tour gathers at the statue of the Indian on the east lawn of the Capitol. This is along Grant Street between Colfax and 14th Avenue. There is metered street parking and a paid parking lot across the street, directly east of the Capitol.
Phil Goodstein will be our walking movement leader. Learn more about his tours here.
Tickets are limited – First come, first served! More detailed parking and meeting information will be included in your receipt.
