Join Lotus Network for our next Heart of Volunteering event as we spend the morning volunteering with the incredible Women’s Bean Project in Denver.
We’ll roll up our sleeves, give back, and learn more about an organization creating meaningful opportunities for women right here in our community.
This is a chance to come together with other women in the Lotus Network for a morning centered around service, connection, and making a difference together.
About Women’s Bean Project
Women’s Bean Project is a Colorado nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to helping women create lasting change in their lives by providing steppingstones to self-sufficiency through employment.
Their mission is rooted in the belief that all women have the power to transform their lives through employment.
By helping eliminate barriers to employment and providing women with community, support, and confidence, Women’s Bean Project helps participants build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
What to Expect
Your morning at Women’s Bean Project will begin with a tour of the facility led by Ellen, who will share more about the organization’s history, mission, and impact.
After the tour, we’ll roll up our sleeves and help with the organization’s current seasonal needs. Volunteer activities may include:
- Labeling packages
- Sampling products and providing feedback
- Assembling gift boxes
- Assisting with other seasonal projects
And before you leave, feel free to stop by the Women’s Bean Project retail store and shop!
