Join Lotus Network as we enjoy an early morning hike at Castlewood Canyon on August 22nd at 8:45 AM!
Castlewood Canyon is located on the western edge of the plains, east of Castle Rock. It is a favorite among sightseers because it’s situated among a diverse ecosystem of grasslands, caprock, shrublands, conifer forests, and riparian areas.
The hike is moderate and is approximately 2.5 miles. Please be prepared by wearing closed-toed shoes, preferably hiking boots, lots of water, snacks/lunch, and appropriate clothing for the ever-changing weather of Colorado!
We will meet at the Canyon Point parking lot at the East or Main entrance of the park at 2989 S State Highway 83 Franktown, CO 80116.
We have limited availability only, so grab your tickets now!
Please note:
You must purchase aColoradoPark Pass to enter the park. The cost is $10 per vehicle. There are no additional fees for this guided hike, as it will be a Volunteer Naturalist who will lead the hike.
Parking and meeting information will be included in your receipt.
