Embrace “Time-Out”

The power of silence can help heal your mind and body.  The connection challenge this month is to find 10 minutes a day of peace and quiet to help aid in our quest for self-improvement.  Allow this time to tune out the noise around you, be in the moment, and allow a sense of self-compassion to come into your thoughts. Find that space where you can be forgiving, empathetic, and loving by recognizing we each have our boundaries, limitations, and flaws. Connecting with yourself and embracing silence can help stimulate your brain and help you process information. It can also help you become more self-aware, relieve stress, and add a sense of calm.
