HEART OF VOL_ LOTUS

It's Never Too Late to Serve Your Community

We're unwrapping a volunteer initiative that redefines compassion, unity, and positive change!

Our new Heart of Volunteering Program provides support to our local communities in the form of service learning, direct service, and community service opportunities.

We are partnering with service-focused non-profits to offer volunteer opportunities to our network.

Join us this June 5th for our next Heart of Volunteering event!

Join us as we partner with Family Tree to prepare and serve a delicious breakfast to the families at House of Hope.

Saturday, October 26th, 2024 | 9:00- 11:00 AM MT

House of Hope: 3301 South Grant Street, Englewood, CO

What will we be doing to help?

During this rewarding community service project, we’ll prepare and serve a delicious breakfast for the families at Family Tree’s residential facility in Englewood. You’ll have the opportunity to rotate between cooking and cleaning in the kitchen, and there may also be a chance to assist in organizing their pantry. Volunteers will be assigned a breakfast food item to contribute to the meal and will be helping prepare and serve the meal to families who are temporarily living at Family Tree.

About Family Tree

Family Tree is a local nonprofit that works alongside people affected by child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness, throughout their journey to safety and economic independence, providing emergency residential services, case management and advocacy, therapeutic services, outreach support, housing search and placement, education and employment support, among many other services. By leveraging a deeper, broader and more holistic array of life-changing services and programs, Family Tree empowers individuals and families to discover their own strengths to create lasting, positive change.

FAMILY TREE IS COMMITTED TO ADDRESSING THE INTERCONNECTED ISSUES OF CHILD ABUSE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND HOMELESSNESS.

Family Tree House of Hope is a residential shelter for women and their children experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. Families are provided comprehensive case management and integrated supportive services while they begin to get back on their feet.

This volunteer experience is limited to only 12 people so sign up early and let's do something wonderful for the people in our community!
