LoDo, as it is commonly known, is Denver’s oldest neighborhood, and today still tells the story of how Denver went from a dying mining town to one of the hippest cities in the U.S. Over two hours of easy walking, we’ll see where Denver began and hear some of the stories that have made Denver, and especially LoDo, so unique — from the cultural center to the tallest building west of the Mississippi to the red-light district to dinosaur fossils. LoDo is a snapshot of Denver’s history and its future.
