This Month’s Conversation:

Somewhere along the way, many of us traded our wonder for responsibility, our curiosity for certainty, and our joy for what we thought we should be doing.

But what if all of it—the play, the freedom, the spark—was never really lost? What if it’s just been patiently waiting for you to pick it back up?

In this playful, reflective conversation salon, Kara Valentine and Terry Rubin will guide you through a gentle journey of remembering. Together, we’ll trace the quiet through line of your life—the joys, interests, questions, and quirks that have been with you since childhood—and explore how they might want to take the lead in this next chapter.

We’ll ask:

    •    Who were you before the “shoulds” took over?
    •    What lit you up before you worried about doing it right?
    •    What feels fun, freeing, or just yours right now?
    •    And what if your next chapter doesn’t need a plan—just a thread of joy to follow?

This isn’t about reinvention.
It’s about reclamation: a return to the you beneath the shoulds.
