Join Lotus Network for a colorful Stepping Out adventure as we explore the Colfax Canvas Murals, a vibrant public-art destination showcasing world-class creativity in the heart of Aurora’s Cultural Arts District.
Created in 2020, Colfax Canvas celebrates the artists, cultures, and stories of Aurora’s East Colfax Corridor. During our visit, we’ll discover striking murals, learn about the neighborhood’s rich artistic history, and explore how public art has helped transform and connect the surrounding community.

This route is shorter than our previous graffiti walks, making it a comfortable and enjoyable outing for a variety of walking abilities.

A Self-Guided Audio Experience
Our mural walk will include a self-guided audio tour that allows us to hear more about the artwork and its connection to the surrounding neighborhood.
To enjoy the full experience, please bring:
- A fully charged smartphone
- Earbuds or headphones
- Comfortable walking shoes
- A water bottle

Good news: This walking tour is shorter than our previous graffiti walks, offering a more relaxed way to experience the artwork together.
Stay for Lunch!
After exploring the murals, we’ll wrap up our outing with lunch at the famous La Cueva Mexican Restaurant, a longtime local favorite known for its flavorful New Mexican and Mexican cuisine.

Accessibility and Walking
This is an outdoor walking experience. Although the route is shorter than previous Lotus Network graffiti tours, guests should still be prepared to stand and walk between mural locations.
Weather
Please check the forecast before arriving and dress appropriately for the morning’s conditions. The tour may be adjusted if severe weather affects the area.
