This Month: Paint for a Purpose
Join Lotus Network for a meaningful morning of creativity, connection, and community service.
We’re partnering with Big Heart Art to create beautiful floral mural panels that will become part of a permanent art installation at the 48th Street Women’s Shelter. These murals are designed to bring warmth, hope, and dignity to the more than 300 women who seek shelter each night.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or have never picked up a paintbrush, everyone is welcome. No artistic experience is necessary—we’ll create something beautiful together.
Event Details
Together, we’ll paint floral mural panels that symbolize:
- Hope
- Strength
- Growth
- New Beginnings
Each brushstroke will help create a welcoming environment where women can feel supported, valued, and encouraged during a difficult chapter in their lives.
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting paint on. We will be using acrylic paints, which may permanently stain fabric.
Parking
Parking is available in the alley next to the building.
Why We Love this Project
At Lotus Network, we believe meaningful friendships are built not only through shared experiences, but also through serving others. This volunteer event is an opportunity to connect with fellow members while making a lasting impact on our community.
